Sad Lone Light

She wanted me to write her sad and lonely poems. But what I had in store for her was far much more than the sad and the lonely.

I could go over the profile of her life and I could see God in every waking door, in every window of opportunity, she probably hadn’t had her eyes on and every bits of blessings she carried with her.

I could see too much love, care and support from all angles of her life. She was just a little preoccupied with her sad to see and her lonely was making the lights a little dim. But in her was too much light. Too much that it would blind whoever couldn’t see it. You are light and nothing less than that could ever be used to define you.

Let your light shine, don,’t you try dim it with the dark of sad and lonely. Just open your eyes to it and you’ll illuminate more lives, more than you think.

Love, Ma.
