Hello guys,my name is Rono Mercy,as most of y’all already know.I’m the human behind ronomercywrites.

Ronomercywrites first started just as an idea, I used to write tusmall pieces of writes using photogrid and post them on facebook and on my Instagram page.A friend of mine advocated that I should start a blog.

Initially it all seemed so hard,so I told him alright and so,went on with my life.But,you see, whatever is meant to be,will always be,no matter how much you may try running away from it.All this was late 2015.

Early 2016 I went out for my external attachment,being an Electrical and Electronics Engineer,this is mandatory.

During this period,way too many insights were coming into play and I used to actually wake up at night just so I could write.It was during this time that I then decided to start my blog.

I had the huggest traffic after my first three writes and i was just so grateful for taking the initiative.

My experiences then gave me the room to actually keep on writing, I used to travel every other weekend,be it for athletics,handball or climb to educate hikes.All these experiences built more on my writes.

This went on for long,but then May 2017,i just abrupty stopped writing.I fixed every excuse to the reasons why i couldn’t write.Even when friends asked for the link,i would tell them that i do not write anymore.

The traffic i had long created died down and I wasn’t bothered at all, let’s say i just didn’t give a hoot anymore.But then friends kept asking about it all and telling me how my posts used to speak to them.These comments kept getting to me.My graduation day came and i still sat on this talent, During this whole time Dad kept on going over how I should always do all that I love and i should never for a day fail to work at it.

So, sometime late 2019 I finally decided to get back to it all because i was really lost without it all.

You see,writes are my own kinda therapy,way of expression and way of reaching out to others.That is the key reason of starting this blog. I wanted us to be able to freely interact,share our feels and grievances,pour our hearts out,love and embrace nature and our African heritage.This blog is open to everyone, that is why we have weeks where you guys say what you want written.
