I’d always wondered what it was like to lose yourself to someone,to let their worries be your worries, to let their struggle be yours,to care too much for someone till I met you.
The minute you set your eyes on me,I knew something was building up,its glow went right through my gut,butterflies was all that build up though I knew nothing of it.But am certain what I felt ws butterflies.Of course from my dreamy stories.
I got glued on you,couldn’t shift my gaze,”my he is so fine.Look at those eyes,look at that smile,look at his chocolate face,this American heights would take me.”
“Damn,get back to your typing”.Another voice hit me.I had many typos then.
“Nkt,maybe he wasn’t even smiling at me and the way I had lost my minutes and energy in thought.damn.”
I typed on and tried forget those seconds.But at heart I was waiting for lunch break so I could inquire more on the new face:o)
Afew minutes later.someone called out my name.”Ooh my the new face was going to take up my position.”
I hated him.The butterflies had subsized.
“Hey Sha”Joe,my employer greeted.
” Meet Sean” He went on.Damn my doubts were right.He was to take up my position,my desk would be his,But why now?I hated him.The butterflies were all gone.”He is my son and Am asking of you to take him round because i would want him to be your manager real soon and he needs to know all posts”.
A smile flashed through my face.”My,I could kiss you right now”My brain would betray me one day.
I could feel the butterflies building back up.
“Its okay boss,I’ll do exactly that”.
Joe left and I remained there with uuhm it was sean,oyeah am right,Sean.
“Ooh my, look at that body,I could bear him 20 children if he wanted,we would live in our castle right by the village’s dead forest,just by the riverside.I could see us with our newborns. With our Everlasting love”.
Sean cut it all short..Aargh but it was worth it because he was in it all.
“Sha do you have a boyfie?Can we hook up tonight?what kinda drinks do you take?I like your body,I just wanna run my hands through your body part by part”Sean kept asking without hesitating.
“What?I could beat him up right now.What was he taking me for?
Had I dressed like some whore?
Jeez?I had never been that offended.I called him off,told him to leave my desk and  go back to his Daddy and they could sack Me if they wanted to.I deserve better than that.
Damn you.I had a future with you for a moment.Smh!
I collect my hopes,back to where they belong.Still wondering on how people lose themselves in each other.Its all silly I think.They don’t know about better and best.
Just maybe.
“Sha”Far voice calling.

Duty calls.I gotta go.
